Marketing & PR
Introduction
MACH gets a large amount of coverage from trade press and we, as organisers, heavily promote the event to ensure that exhibitors gain the maximum benefit from the show and to encourage serious buyers to attend the exhibition. We have already started an active advertising and marketing campaign across a range of media to achieve this. There are of course a number of things you can do as an exhibitor to improve your return on investment from exhibiting at MACH – several of which are detailed in this guide.

A great way to let visitors know about your stand is to advertise in the MACH show guides, where full page advertising spaces are available, or on the fold out floorplan (z-card).
Full prices of each opportunity can be found at www.machexhibition.com/mach-sponsorship-opportunities/

The online exhibition catalogue provides a valuable resource for visitors to the show and helps make sure that the right visitors come to your stand. The online catalogue lists all exhibitors and provides contact details alongside a 50 word description of the exhibitor’s company and products. In addition we compile a comprehensive product directory to help visitors identify stands which may be of interest to them.
To complete your entry you will need to log on to the exhibitor zone of the MACH website. Once logged in you will have the opportunity to check the contact details we have listed for you, enter in a 50 word description of your choice and let us know which product types you will be exhibiting. All contact data and any printed material will be generated from these online entries so it is essential that you enter correct information and amend any errors. Please note your entry should be entered on the website before 23rd January to ensure it is included.
If you have lost your login information please use the ‘forgot password’ function to reset your details. If you continue to experience problems please contact the MACH Team on 020 7298 6400 or email mach@mta.org.uk
MACH is a great place to highlight new innovations so if you have a product or service being showcased on your stand that has not previously been at the exhibition highlight it with a ‘New at MACH’ logo.
New@MACH decals for your products can be collected free of charge from the Hall 19 Organiser’s Office – they come in a range of sizes and are a great way to demonstrate to visitors at the show that you have new technology and services on your stand.
The MACH team invests huge amounts of energy and resources to attract the right type of visitors to the exhibition. But the promotion doesn’t end there and you can also play your part in encouraging prospects and customers to attend.
Effective pre-show promotion does not have to be expensive – you just remember to spread the word!
- Tell your customers – write to all your customers telling them that you will be at MACH, inviting them to your stand and highlighting any new products or special offers you may have. Remember – if you don’t invite your customer, then someone else will!
- Include the MACH logo in all communication materials, for example in newsletters, special offers and company literature, on your website and on any press advertising.
- Tell your prospects – send an invitation letter to all your prospects – maybe pull together all the enquiries and leads you’ve generated over the last 12 months and invite them to come and see you at the show.
- Tell your suppliers – don’t forget to let your suppliers know they’re part of your bigger team. It can strengthen relationships and of course sometimes suppliers are customers too.
- Tell us – Use the NEW@MACH scheme to publicise what you’re bringing to the show that’s new. We may be able to include the information in the bulletins that will be sent to the Press.
- Tag us in – Don’t forget to tag us in to social posts so we can retransmit and spread the word!
The MACH visitor promotion campaign will be running from November 2025, make sure you are following us across our social media platforms so you can cross promote to your network.
MACH is a large exhibition and competition for the visitors’ attention will be fierce. One way to dramatically improve your company’s presence within the exhibition halls is to consider one or more of the fantastic sponsorship opportunities open exclusively to MACH Exhibitors.

The MACH website is visited by thousands of people in the lead up to the exhibition so make sure you are taking advantage of the free publicity provided by your exhibitor listing and profile on the Visit system. Make sure you:
- Visit the exhibitor zone on the MACH exhibition website and keeping your information up to date.
- Check your address and entering a 50 word company description (these will appear in the MACH online catalogue).
- Enter details of the products you will have on show using our product categories section (once again this information will be displayed online)
- Upload a copy of your logo – full instructions can be found in the ezone.
Many trade publications are publishing previews of MACH, focusing on new products and news items from exhibitors. In the months leading up to the exhibition you should submit press information to the relevant publications. Press releases should have a short, informative headline and give a summary of the subject in the opening paragraph. Further paragraphs should follow with additional relevant detail. Photographs (if available) should also be included, each with a short caption.
You can find the logos of all the MACH media partners, linked to their websites, scrolling on the bottom of the main MACH homepage.
Exhibitor press releases can also be displayed on the MACH website and can be submitted via the Exhibitor Zone of the MACH website
Have you considered hosting a press event at MACH?
A number of companies use MACH to launch new products and a well-organised press event is a great way to boost interest in your company. It could be something simple such as a small lunch or drinks reception or something much more eye-catching to grab press attention. Let us know about your event so that we can cross-promote it and help avoid clashes with other major events taking place at the show.
If you are planning a press event please remember that you are responsible for the hiring of any private room as well as the cost of any equipment, refreshments and all other associated costs.
